Lead the development of strategic sales education initiatives that empower commercial teams to build expertise, confidence, and performance in a specialized healthcare environment. In this role, you will design and implement comprehensive training strategies, learning pathways, and educational programs that support business growth and customer impact. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, human resources, and education leaders to create engaging, effective learning experiences. - Define and execute the strategic direction for sales training programs, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and business priorities.
- Develop structured learning pathways, training platforms, tools, and resources that improve sales team competency, confidence, and product knowledge.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-quality educational programs based on adult learning principles and proven instructional methodologies.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to create impactful training content, establish program objectives, and ensure successful delivery within established timelines.
- Provide leadership and operational direction to the sales training team, overseeing course execution, program management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish course prerequisites, assessment tools, and measurement strategies to evaluate training effectiveness and learner outcomes.
- Incorporate innovative learning approaches, educational research, and interactive techniques into training curricula and delivery methods.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales leadership, human resources, and other business partners to develop quarterly action plans and improve commercial training effectiveness.
- Manage training budgets, cost analysis, financial planning, and operational execution for sales education programs and related events.
- Coach and mentor sales trainers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to enhance program quality and team performance.
- Ensure all activities comply with professional standards, industry regulations, ethical guidelines, and organizational policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field required; Master's degree in Business, Medical, Science, or a related discipline preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in sales training, medical education, professional communications, instructional design, or related roles within healthcare, medical device, academic, or similar environments.
- 3–5+ years of experience leading and developing teams.
- Strong expertise in adult learning principles, continuing professional development, instructional design, and professional education content creation.
- Experience developing and delivering training programs that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences and communicate complex concepts effectively.
- Strong organizational, project management, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in urology, urogynecology, medical education, or related healthcare fields is preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30–50% as required.
