  • Provide transparent oversight of engagement health, performance, risks, progress, and effectiveness across the portfolio.
  • Facilitate structured retrospectives with clients and internal teams to identify lessons learned, improve delivery practices, and implement actionable changes.
  • Step into hands-on client delivery and strategic problem-solving when needed to maintain quality and strengthen relationships.
  • Oversee core business operations, including people management and organizational planning, to support team performance and sustainable growth.
  • Coach and mentor other leaders and managers while cultivating a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience working within defense, homeland security, justice, national security, or related government mission environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a multi-million-dollar professional services P&L, including multiple concurrent client engagements and subcontractor relationships.
  • Proven track record in business development, opportunity capture, proposal leadership, and growing a government contracting or professional services business.
  • Strong understanding of professional services operations, government contracting, financial management, business development, people operations, marketing, and organizational strategy.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong resourcefulness, initiative, adaptability, and comfort operating in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Exceptional general management, organizational, and people leadership skills, with experience building and managing high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to analyze financial, operational, and performance data and turn insights into effective business decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to engage effectively with senior government and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborative and supportive leadership style with a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
