Position Title: Project Accountant

Location: Glendale, CA
Salary Interval: NON-EXEMPT
Pay Range: $32.00 - $36.00

Position Description

The Project Accountant must be experienced in all aspects of project accounting including contracts, change orders, compliance, insurance requirements and billings. Must be able to communicate effectively, work with a variety of people in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and comprehend contracts (Prime and Sub)
  • Project setup and maintenance in Viewpoint and Share drives
  • Request and maintain project bond and insurance policies
  • Create subcontractor contracts
  • Responsible for subcontractor compliance and insurance requirements
  • Process change orders (Prime and Sub)
  • Process monthly billings and coordinate payments
  • Process extra work bills
  • Close out of completed projects
  • Monthly audit of subcontractor payments
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and subcontractors
  • Other duties assigned based on company needs.

  • Position Requirements

    Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years' experience in construction accounting
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
  • Experience with Viewpoint software is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong problem-solving, time management and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Fully on-site at our NoHo Project (Glendale, CA)
  • Monday to Friday
