Sales Manager (Medical Software)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Manager (Medical Software) based in United States.

This is a strategic, consultative sales role focused on helping healthcare organizations modernize their clinical, operational, and financial performance through innovative software and AI-powered solutions. You’ll build trusted relationships with physicians, practice administrators, healthcare executives, and operational leaders. The role covers the full enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through solution positioning, negotiation, and close. You’ll translate complex EHR, practice management, revenue cycle, analytics, interoperability, and AI capabilities into measurable business value. Working cross-functionally with sales engineering, product, implementation, customer success, marketing, and leadership teams, you’ll help shape successful customer outcomes. This is an opportunity for an experienced SaaS sales professional to influence healthcare transformation while driving sustainable revenue growth.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead consultative enterprise sales: Build executive-level relationships with physicians, practice administrators, healthcare executives, and operational stakeholders while uncovering their clinical, financial, operational, and technical challenges.
  • Own the full sales cycle: Manage opportunities from prospecting and qualification through discovery, demonstrations, solution design, negotiation, contracting, and close, consistently working toward revenue, pipeline, and growth targets.
  • Develop tailored solution strategies: Connect customer objectives and measurable outcomes with solutions spanning EHR, practice management, revenue cycle management, business intelligence, interoperability, cloud software, automation, and AI.
  • Deliver compelling presentations: Lead product demonstrations, executive presentations, workshops, and discovery sessions that clearly communicate ROI, workflow transformation, revenue optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide industry and technical guidance: Explain AI-enabled workflows, predictive analytics, interoperability, APIs, FHIR integrations, cloud architecture, and related healthcare technologies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Partner across functions: Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, Implementation, Customer Success, Marketing, and leadership to address complex requirements, ensure solution alignment, and create a seamless buying experience.
  • Develop customer relationships and growth opportunities: Act as a trusted advisor throughout evaluation and purchasing, while identifying opportunities for account expansion, cross-selling, and strategic partnerships.
  • Contribute to market strategy: Gather customer and market intelligence, represent the organization at industry events and executive briefings, and provide insights that can influence product strategy, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Drive measurable performance: Consistently exceed sales and pipeline targets while improving sales-cycle effectiveness, executive engagement, solution alignment, and long-term customer growth.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of successful consultative B2B software sales experience, preferably within enterprise SaaS, healthcare technology, or a related technology environment.
  • Proven experience selling complex healthcare or enterprise technology solutions, such as EHR/EMR, practice management, revenue cycle management, healthcare IT, AI, cloud software, analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated success with enterprise sales cycles, including multi-stakeholder buying processes, executive engagement, complex negotiations, and consistent quota attainment.
  • Healthcare industry knowledge, including familiarity with healthcare workflows, reimbursement models, regulatory considerations, interoperability, and emerging technology trends.
  • Technical fluency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot, as well as AI technologies, automation, APIs, FHIR, cloud-based software, and workflow integrations.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate sophisticated technology into clear business value and measurable outcomes.
  • Strategic, consultative sales approach, combining strong discovery, relationship building, negotiation, solution positioning, and closing capabilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to establish long-term relationships and identify expansion, cross-sell, and partnership opportunities.
  • Highly self-motivated and organized, capable of managing a complex pipeline independently while collaborating effectively across multiple internal teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
Benefits:
  • Remote position within the United States.
  • Full-time independent contractor engagement.
  • Flexible remote working environment with availability required during standard U.S. business hours, approximately 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST or 8:30 AM–4:30 PM EST.
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare technology, enterprise SaaS, AI, automation, and digital transformation.
  • Direct exposure to physicians, healthcare executives, practice leaders, and other senior decision-makers.
  • Opportunity to contribute to long-term customer growth, strategic partnerships, product direction, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Compensation structure includes a monthly base salary expectation, with details determined during the hiring process.
