Responsible for the strategic management of assigned Nursing and other clinical and ancillary patient care functional areas/services. Serves as member of senior management team for the Hospital and as department head for assigned Nursing and Patient Care and Ancillary departments, units, and services. Makes decisions within the framework of the organization philosophies, policies, and procedures. Makes independent decisions for assigned services following the guidelines established by Administration.
