RN Float Pool in Holyoke, Massachusetts at Holyoke Medical Center

Float Pool provides high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population throughout Holyoke Medical Center. Each shift, the Float Pool RN will be assigned to a specific hospital unit as part of the nursing team delivering direct patient care. Based on patient census and acuity needs, the Float Pool RN may begin a shift in one unit and be reassigned to another to support hospital operations. At times, a Float Pool RN may also remain in a single unit for an extended period to cover long-term staff absences (e.g., illness, vacation, maternity leave).

This role encompasses care across ICU, medical-surgical, telemetry, acute care settings, and Geri psych.

Position Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure
• Minimum two (2) years of RN experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry environment
• Completion of unit-specific education and training within the first year of hire

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
