We have a need for an experience healthcare operator to lead multiple sites within our CoralVita umbrella. The incumbent in this role should have a passion for quality care, positive people/patient outcomes, and the ambition to meet KPIs to ensure program success.
Position Summary
The Regional Director of Operations is a senior operational leader responsible for overseeing performance, quality, compliance, and execution across multiple healthcare facilities. Reporting to the Enterprise CEO, this role provides strategic and day-to-day leadership to facility leaders, ensuring consistent operational standards, strong financial performance, regulatory readiness, and high-quality service delivery across the assigned region.
This leader partners with executive, clinical, finance, compliance, HR, and support teams to drive operational excellence, workforce stability, census and growth strategies, expense management, and continuous improvement. The Regional Director of Operations ensures facilities operate effectively, meet organizational goals, and deliver safe, compliant, and person-centered care.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and day-to-day operational leadership for multiple facilities within the assigned region, ensuring consistent execution of organizational priorities, policies, and performance expectations.
- Partner with facility leaders to drive operational performance, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, workforce stability, census growth, and financial results.
- Monitor facility performance indicators, including census, labor productivity, staffing, expenses, revenue, quality metrics, incident trends, survey readiness, and client or resident satisfaction.
- Hold facility leaders accountable for operational standards, service delivery, budget performance, employee engagement, compliance requirements, and corrective action plans.
- Ensure facilities maintain regulatory readiness and operate in compliance with applicable federal, state, licensing, accreditation, payer, and organizational requirements.
- Lead regional performance improvement initiatives to strengthen care quality, operational efficiency, risk management, workforce retention, and financial stewardship.
- Collaborate with clinical, compliance, finance, HR, IT, business development, and other support functions to resolve operational barriers and advance enterprise priorities.
- Support census development, referral relationships, payer performance, service line growth, and market positioning across assigned facilities.
- Provide leadership during surveys, audits, investigations, critical incidents, staffing challenges, operational transitions, and other high-priority facility matters.
- Develop, coach, and evaluate facility leaders, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, compliance, continuous improvement, and person-centered care.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Human Services, or related field required; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience, including experience overseeing multiple facilities or service locations.
- Demonstrated success leading facility operations in a multi-site healthcare facility, preferably , post-acute, long-term care rehabilitation, or similar service environment.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, licensing standards, quality management, risk mitigation, staffing models, budget accountability, and performance improvement.
- Experience leading facility leaders, improving operational performance, managing census or service growth, and partnering with clinical, compliance, finance, HR, and business development teams.
- Applicable professional licensure or healthcare administrator certification preferred

Work Environment
This position supports a dynamic, multi-site healthcare organization operating post-acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation services. Periodic travel to regional facilities and corporate offices is required.
