Banquet Bartender in Eatontown, New Jersey at TFE Properties LLC

The Sheraton Eatontown Hotel is seeking an experienced Banquet Bartender who is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during banquet events in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner. This role ensures guests receive outstanding service while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized bar area.

Responsibilities:

· Set up and break down banquet bar according to event specifications and hotel standards.

· Mix, garnish, and serve drinks in a timely and accurate manner based on recipes or guest preferences.

· Provide excellent guest service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and suggesting beverages.

· Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including stocking and replenishing supplies.

· Follow cash handling and drink ticket procedures accurately.

· Work closely with banquet staff to ensure smooth coordination during events.

· Adhere to all hotel safety and sanitation policies, as well as local and state alcohol laws.

· Report any equipment issues, incidents, or guest concerns to the Banquet Manager promptly.

Compensation and Benefits include:

· This position offers a starting rate of $15.92 per hour

· Minimum 1 year of bartending experience, preferably in a banquet or event setting.

· Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.

· Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

· Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

· Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) preferred
