Rural Health Clinic LPN in northern kentucky, Kentucky at Community Inclusion LLC

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care and clinical support within the Rural Health Clinic (RHC) under the supervision and direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and in collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals.

The LPN is responsible for assisting with patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, performing clinical procedures, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting the daily operations of the clinic.

This position plays an essential role in delivering high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered healthcare to individuals and families in rural and underserved communities. All nursing services must be provided within the LPN's authorized scope of practice, applicable Kentucky nursing laws, clinic policies, and established standards of care.

Education and Licensure

• Graduation from an accredited or otherwise Kentucky Board of Nursing-approved practical nursing program.
• Current, active, and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing, or a valid multistate license recognized in Kentucky.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or another organization accepted by the clinic.
• Ability to maintain all required professional licenses, certifications, and competencies throughout employment.

Experience

• Previous clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in a Rural Health Clinic, primary care practice, family medicine clinic, or outpatient healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience using electronic health record systems preferred.
• New graduates may be considered based on clinical competency, training, and organizational needs.
