Accountabilities:

As a Desenvolvedor Especialista, you will act as a technical reference within the engineering team, contributing to the creation of robust, scalable, and high-quality software solutions. You will support technical decisions, mentor other developers, and help ensure engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Develop and implement complex software solutions, ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Act as a technical mentor for less experienced developers, sharing knowledge and promoting engineering excellence.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and cross-functional teams to define system architecture and ensure effective integrations.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from solution design and implementation to deployment and continuous improvement.
  • Perform code reviews, ensuring compliance with technical standards, security practices, and development guidelines.
  • Analyze complex technical challenges and propose innovative solutions aligned with business and product needs.
  • Contribute to the modernization and evolution of existing systems, improving scalability and operational efficiency.
  • Support the resolution of critical issues in high-volume and demanding environments.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence engineering practices. You should have experience building complex applications, collaborating across teams, and supporting the growth of other professionals.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Advanced experience with relevant frameworks, libraries, and modern software development practices.
  • Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Ability to design technical solutions, analyze trade-offs, and contribute to architecture discussions.
  • Experience conducting code reviews and promoting quality engineering standards.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience mentoring developers and acting as a technical reference.
  • Cloud certifications or architecture certifications are considered a plus.

Additional experience that would be valuable:

  • Experience with billing or telecommunications environments.
  • Knowledge of TM Forum/Open APIs.
  • Experience working with Oracle BRM.
  • Background in critical systems and high-volume platforms.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies.
  • Experience modernizing legacy applications.
  • Cloud computing or software architecture certifications.
