Strategic Technology Alliances Manager (AMD, OEM & Cloud)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Technology Alliances Manager (AMD, OEM & Cloud) based in the United States.

This is a senior, high-impact opportunity focused on building and accelerating strategic technology partnerships across AI infrastructure, cloud, and enterprise hardware ecosystems.
You will own critical alliances with leading semiconductor and OEM partners while expanding relationships with emerging cloud and hyperscale providers.
The role combines executive relationship management, partner-led sales, joint solution development, and revenue generation.
You will work closely with sales, product, marketing, and technical teams to transform complex partner ecosystems into measurable pipeline and revenue.
The position offers significant visibility, autonomy, and influence over alliance strategy and go-to-market initiatives.
You will also represent the organization at major industry events and help shape product and integration roadmaps through partner feedback.
This is an ideal role for a seasoned alliances leader who thrives in fast-moving, matrixed environments and wants to help shape the future of AI infrastructure.

Accountabilities
  • Own and accelerate strategic technology alliances with AMD and leading tier-one hardware OEMs, developing strong executive-level relationships and joint business plans.
  • Build and execute alliance strategies across AMD's AI and data center ecosystem, including GPU, software, networking, and edge infrastructure technologies.
  • Expand partnerships with emerging Neo Cloud and sovereign cloud providers, helping them develop differentiated, full-stack AI infrastructure and AI-as-a-Service offerings.
  • Develop targeted co-sell opportunities with major hyperscale cloud providers and their marketplaces when aligned with customer and partner opportunities.
  • Drive joint AI infrastructure and edge solutions, including validated architectures and integrated offerings across hardware, software, data platforms, and cloud environments.
  • Identify high-value opportunities where semiconductor, server, storage, data platform, and cloud partners can converge into compelling joint solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with direct sales teams to generate pipeline, conduct joint account mapping, enable partner sales and pre-sales teams, and accelerate strategic opportunities.
  • Track and grow partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue while maintaining strong pipeline visibility and accountability against alliance targets.
  • Represent the organization at major industry conferences, partner summits, and ecosystem events, strengthening relationships and identifying new opportunities.
  • Bring market and partner insights back to internal product and engineering teams to influence integration priorities, product roadmaps, and joint solution development.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce and partner CRM/PRM data, forecasts, proposals, joint go-to-market plans, and alliance documentation.
  • Work across VARs, global system integrators, integrators, technology partners, and internal stakeholders to build scalable partner-led sales motions.
Requirements
  • 10–15+ years of enterprise software experience, with significant experience in strategic alliances, business development, channel sales, or partner-led enterprise sales.
  • Strong background in cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, virtualization, AI infrastructure, or closely related enterprise technology markets.
  • Established relationships with AMD and/or major tier-one OEMs such as Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Hitachi Vantara, or Supermicro, or a demonstrated ability to rapidly develop executive-level partner relationships.
  • Familiarity with modern AI and data center infrastructure, including GPUs, AI accelerators, cloud infrastructure, networking, and related software ecosystems.
  • Proven track record of closing and scaling complex, multi-partner enterprise deals with measurable co-sell, partner-sourced, or partner-influenced revenue.
  • Strong value-based selling skills and the ability to articulate business outcomes, competitive differentiation, and total cost of ownership.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate at the executive and C-suite level with both technology partners and joint enterprise customers.
  • Excellent pipeline management, forecasting, and operational discipline, with strong Salesforce and partner CRM/PRM proficiency.
  • Hunter mentality with demonstrated success developing new logos and expanding strategic accounts within complex, matrixed sales organizations.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with direct sales teams, VARs, GSIs, integrators, product teams, marketing, and technical stakeholders.
  • Energetic, proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to operate independently and drive initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Based in or willing to work from Texas, particularly Austin, Dallas, or Houston, with a willingness to travel regularly for customers, partners, and major industry events.
Benefits
  • Fully remote work with a preferred location in Texas, particularly Austin, Dallas, or Houston.
  • High degree of autonomy and ownership over strategic alliances and territory development.
  • Opportunity to work with leading technology, semiconductor, OEM, cloud, and AI infrastructure ecosystems.
  • Significant exposure to senior executives and strategic enterprise customers.
  • Extensive travel opportunities for customer meetings, partner engagements, conferences, and industry events.
  • Opportunity to attend and represent the organization at major technology and partner events.
  • Direct influence on alliance strategy, joint go-to-market initiatives, product integrations, and business growth.
  • Collaborative environment spanning sales, product, marketing, engineering, and international partner teams.
  • Career growth opportunities within a fast-moving technology organization.
  • Opportunity to contribute to the development of emerging AI infrastructure and cloud-native technologies.
