About This Position
We are on the hunt for a talented and creative-minded Chef de Partie to join our bustling BOH WunderKitchen team here in Hobart, TAS 7000. If you have a passion for French cuisine and a flair for innovative cooking techniques, we want to hear from you!
As a Chef de Partie at WunderBar, you will work closely with our Head Chef to create and execute delicious dishes that will wow our guests. From preparing classic French dishes to putting your own unique spin on traditional recipes, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and culinary creativity on a daily basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with WunderBar's standards
- Assisting with menu development and recipe creation
- Ensuring food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Collaborating with other members of the kitchen team to deliver top-notch dining experiences
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Keeping up with industry trends and innovations to continuously improve your culinary skills
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience working as a Chef de Partie in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Formal training in French cuisine is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety principles and regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences
