Requirements

What will make you an Ideal Candidate?

  • Experience with ArcGIS software
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Highly productive in a combination of in-office and work-from-home environments
  • Demonstrate problem-solving abilities—working independently and as a team player
  • Having above average Microsoft Word and Excel skills

Your Responsibilities:

  • Effectively create maps and digitize polygons in a team effort to meet company and client needs
    • Collaborate with other GIS Specialists on multi-client, multi-state mapping projects
    • Utilize ESRI ArcGIS and Pandell software to convert text-only legal descriptions, surveys, and plats into digitized polygons
    • Meet client-specific predetermined standards and project goals
  • Occasionally work with the Land Records department to separate and organize scanned documents based on clients’ standards

Your Experience:

  • This is an entry-level position
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or related field

Other Skills/Experience We Value:

  • Disciplined self-starter, capable of working independently or in close collaboration with the GIS and Land Records services teams
  • Knowledge of basic land principles and property descriptions
  • Curiosity and the drive to challenge yourself
