Job Description

Primary Function:

The Human Resources Coordinator is in charge of a variety of administrative activities for the human resources department, including new hiring, terminations, personnel records, payroll processing, and providing administrative support to employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Process documentation and assist the HR team with clerical tasks
  • Participate in the hiring and termination process by completing forms, logs, and records
  • Assists in setting up new JD Edwards numbers for new hires
  • Responsible for employees’ address change requests
  • Responsible for processing quarterly premium reimbursements for employees and bi-annual deduction for United Way of Wabash Valley for the Terre Haute plant employees
  • Assist in payroll preparation by reviewing employees’ time cards for multiple groups, and updating and filing payroll reports.
  • Coordinate ADP E-TIME training for plant employees
  • Sort, distribute, scan and process daily mail correspondence
  • E-Filing payroll documents into ADP WFN after each payroll
  • Copying and mailing out pension notices
  • Place orders for flowers/fruit baskets for employees’ life events
  • Participates in departments’ projects

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3-5 years of prior administrative/customer service experience
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of ADP WFN is a plus
