As a Sr. Associate in Forensic Accounting and Business Valuation, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality forensic accounting services, including litigation support, business valuations, and fraud investigations. You’ll collaborate with legal professionals, clients, and leadership to assist in complex financial matters, including, drafting financial models and reports on which expert witness testimony will be based.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct forensic accounting investigations and prepare detailed reports for litigation and consulting engagements.
  • Perform business valuations, including building valuation models and preparing expert reports.
  • Collaborate with legal teams, clients, and senior leadership on financial disputes and fraud investigations.
  • Assist in preparing expert witness testimony and providing financial analysis in support of litigation.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including client proposals and building client relationships.
What Makes You Successful in This Role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or on the path to become a CPA.
  • Interest in pursuing other relevant credentials including CFA, CIRA, ASA, ABV, CFE, all of which are supported financially by RMA..
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, or tax work. Preference for experience in forensic accounting, business valuation, or related financial services.
  • Strong skills in Excel and valuation modeling.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Experience providing or supporting expert witness testimony or preparing expert reports is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to drive innovation and build strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
