Front Desk Receptionist in Sugarland, Texas at PATHWAY IMAGING LLC

Pathway Imaging is a patient-focused, state-of-the-art medical imaging center offering comprehensive care across multiple specialties, including Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomography, Pain Management and other related areas. Our integrated model allows patients to receive coordinated, efficient care in one location—eliminating unnecessary visits and improving outcomes. We are seeking a dependable, compassionate Front Desk Representative to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow in healthcare while making a real impact on patients’ lives.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Confirm referrals, verify orders, and obtain authorizations as required
• Screen patients to ensure proper exam preparation (NPO, full bladder, etc.)
• Schedule walk-in patients with appropriate physician orders
• Collect copays, coinsurance, and deductibles; balance daily deposits
• Coordinate patient transportation with approved couriers when needed
• Assist medical records, verification, and scheduling teams as necessary
• Support providers, management, and sales teams with patient needs
• Keep the lobby and front desk area clean, organized, and professional
• Perform other administrative and office duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills
• Professional, reliable, and patient-focused
• Previous medical front desk or healthcare experience preferred
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable handling financial transactions
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
