Job Description
Quivera Enterprises, LLC is a government contracting parent corporation supporting a diverse portfolio of subsidiaries through a centralized shared services model. Our corporate office provides critical back-office functions, including Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, and Business Operations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across all entities.
The Summer Intern will participate in a structured, 8-week rotational professional development program designed to provide exposure to the federal contracting industry. The intern will support and report to leadership across multiple functional areas, including Human Resources, Marketing, Business Development, and Construction Management. This role offers hands-on experience in both office and field environments while contributing to operational execution, organizational branding, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Core ResponsibilitiesOperational Support & Compliance- Maintain and manage critical project and compliance documentation, including subcontractor records within Procore
- Assist with certified payroll reporting, insurance certificate tracking, and I-9 audit support
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to federal, state, and company regulatory requirements
- Assist with construction field operations, including site layout verification and material tracking
- Record and distribute meeting minutes for internal and external stakeholders
- Support pre-construction activities, including document organization and bid bond coordination
- Identify and track federal contracting opportunities using SAM.gov
- Maintain and update the business development pipeline
- Support market research initiatives and participate in occasional site visits
- Develop and maintain social media content calendars
- Assist in producing digital and video content highlighting organizational initiatives and tribal ownership
- Conduct research on key federal customers, including USACE and the U.S. Air Force
- Assist with onboarding processes and new hire coordination
- Support the migration and maintenance of personnel records within ADP
- Provide general administrative support, including office coordination and benefits administration assistance
- Must be currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Human Resources, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to systems such as ADP, Procore, and SAM.gov
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to audit and manage sensitive information accurately
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in handling personnel and company data
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Demonstrated interest in federal contracting, government procurement, or tribal enterprise operations
- Previous internship experience or leadership involvement in academic or extracurricular activities
- Basic knowledge of project management principles or digital marketing strategies
This position operates primarily in a professional office environment at Quivera’s Edmond, Oklahoma headquarters. The role requires regular business hours, professional conduct, and adherence to corporate standards.
The intern may be required to travel occasionally to local project sites to gain field exposure, participate in site visits, and support project monitoring activities.
Physical Demands – Office / Light Field RoleThe employee must be able to perform standard office activities, including sitting, standing, typing, and operating a computer for extended periods. Occasional walking, bending, and light lifting (up to 15 pounds) may be required during office support or site visits.
Special Requirements- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain the required Government security clearance
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
- Required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement and maintain strict discretion regarding company and personnel information
