Facility Maintenance VI in Jacksonville, North Carolina at Pure Power Technologies Inc

Performs complex electrical maintenance, pneumatic, electrical, plumbing, wiring, machine repair, installation, 5S and preventative maintenance functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Removes, installs, inspect, repair, and replace all types of production and facility equipment.

• Monitors, troubleshoots, and diagnoses trouble on all production and facility equipment.
• Inspects, tests, repairs, wires, and installs all types of electrical equipment, devices and circuits in the plant and on the grounds.
• Performs cross-training activities where necessary to satisfy work assignments.
• Observes all plant and departmental safety practices and procedures.
• Follow 5S procedures in maintaining a neat and orderly work area.
• Prepares required electronic forms and any additional paper work.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Must be able to read all blueprints and use all test and diagnostic equipment associated with those skill areas.
• Must have knowledge of basic electronics, refrigeration, pneumatic, and plumbing skills.
• Must have demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Understand the Preventative Maintenance Program.

Education and/or Experience:

• Must be a high school graduate with additional technical training or be a trade school graduate.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able and willing to climb and work at elevated locations.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and parts up to 50 pounds and over with assistance.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able and willing to work inside and outside throughout the year in the various environments present within building facilities or outside grounds.
