The RoleWe are seeking an energetic, friendly, and motivated individual to join our distribution center team. This is a versatile role that combines hands-on warehouse work, and high-level customer service. Beyond warehouse duties, this position can offer the right candidate the opportunity to expand their skill set through additional training within the industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesSafety First: Maintain a "safety-minded" culture
Master the Warehouse: Handle everything from small fittings to large-diameter pipe, ensuring every item is stored, picked, and shipped correctly.
Attention to Detail: Take pride in the “presentation” of your work, ensuring that product is properly marked and presented for the next person, including the customer.
Drive Results: Use forklifts and RF technology to hit accuracy and productivity benchmarks
Logistic Load: Assist with loading and unloading fleet and freight trucks, securing cargo and ensuring weight distribution safely for the road..
Customer Service: Act as a professional brand ambassador during all customer and vendor interactions.
Equipment Expertise: Proven experience with forklifts and handheld RF scanners for inventory management preferred and valued.
Warehouse Stamina: Ability to remain active on your feet for the duration of a shift, including walking, twisting, and reaching.
Strength & Safety: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs independently and coordinating team or machine lifts for larger oversized items like pipe and heavy freight.
