In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping and delivering high-quality scientific communications that support innovative oncology and rare disease therapies. You will translate complex clinical and scientific data into clear, accurate, and impactful publications that support global medical and commercial strategies. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including key opinion leaders and internal scientific teams, you will help ensure the consistent and compliant communication of clinical trial results, real-world evidence, and health economics data. This position combines scientific rigor with strategic communication, requiring both precision and creativity in medical writing and content development. You will operate in a fast-paced, global, and collaborative environment where your contributions directly support the advancement of precision medicine and patient outcomes.
- Lead the development of scientific publications including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, oral presentations, and review articles aligned with publication plans
- Manage end-to-end medical writing activities, including literature reviews, drafting content, incorporating feedback, and ensuring adherence to timelines
- Ensure scientific accuracy, quality control, and consistency through rigorous editing, fact-checking, proofreading, and formatting of deliverables
- Develop clear and visually engaging scientific materials such as slide decks, figures, tables, and graphical abstracts
- Conduct comprehensive literature searches and maintain organized publication and reference repositories
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Clinical Science, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and other functions to support strategic objectives
- Engage with external authors and key opinion leaders to support publication development and scientific alignment
- Contribute to mentoring and supporting junior team members while fostering a high-quality, collaborative publication environment
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in a scientific discipline (Master’s degree with 4+ years or PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in scientific publications, including peer-reviewed manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Experience in oncology, real-world evidence, or health economics outcomes research is highly desirable
- Strong background in medical writing, scientific editing, and quality review of publications
- Solid understanding of publication standards and guidelines (e.g., ICMJE, GPP, AMA Style, EQUATOR)
- Ability to critically interpret clinical data, regulatory documents, and scientific literature
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and reference management systems such as EndNote
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a global environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders at all levels
