About the role
Exp. Group LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our North Bergen, NJ operations team. This is primarily a data entry role responsible for accurately documenting inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring that all paperwork associated with the movement of product is complete, correct, and timely. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the smooth flow of perishable goods through our facility.
What you'll do
- Enter and maintain accurate shipping and receiving data in company systems, including bills of lading, packing lists, purchase orders, and inventory records.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against supporting documentation and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and file shipping documents, delivery receipts, and related paperwork in accordance with company procedures.
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and sales personnel to ensure shipments are processed and released on schedule.
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and vendors in a professional manner to confirm appointments, pickups, and deliveries.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records to support audits, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse administration is preferred.
- Strong computer and data entry skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to learn internal inventory or warehouse management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy when handling paperwork and data.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
The pay range for this role is:
16 - 16 USD per hour(NJ)
