Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:
Innovative Solutions: Develop and implement engineering solutions to enhance the manufacturing of both new and existing products.
Process Improvement: Analyze and refine current production processes, ensuring efficient and high-quality manufacturing.
Documentation Guru: Create and maintain precise documentation, including manufacturing outlines, bills of materials, and routers.
Hands-On Troubleshooting: Quickly address issues with manufacturing processes, non-conforming parts, and tooling, ensuring minimal downtime.
Capital Projects Advocate: Develop and present compelling ROI analyses for capital expenditure projects.
Fixture & Tooling Design: Design, build, or procure improved fixtures and tooling that enhance production efficiency.
Lean Leader: Champion lean principles and lead Kaizen initiatives to eliminate waste and drive continuous improvement.
Root Cause Analysis: Collect and analyze data to identify and resolve performance issues affecting Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth.
Collaborative Partner: Interface with design engineering and marketing to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of new products.
Active Participant: Contribute actively to the Material Review Board (MRB), bringing your expertise to critical discussions.
Business Acumen: Understand key business drivers and apply that knowledge to achieve results.
Adaptable Problem Solver: Tackle challenges with a systematic approach, analyzing various solutions to find the best fit.
Additional Duties: Be ready to take on other responsibilities as needed.

What You Bring to the Team:
Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
Relevant Experience: 3+ years in a related field, preferably within the aviation industry.
Automation Expertise: Experience with automation technologies is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to approach problem-solving systematically and analytically.
CAD Proficiency: Skilled in 3D modeling, with SolidWorks as a preferred tool.
Tooling Knowledge: Proficient in designing tooling and fixtures.
Continuous Improvement Knowledge: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management tools.
Strong Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks and drive results while being a continuous learner.
Team Player: A passion for collaboration and problem-solving within interdisciplinary teams.
Judgment & Discretion: Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment on significant matters.

Work Environment:
This role blends office work with hands-on experience on the manufacturing floor. Expect to spend about 70% of your time seated, 20% standing, and 10% engaged in walking and lifting activities, allowing for a dynamic work experience. Occasional business travel may be required (approximately 10%).
