Laine Federal partners with government, state, and commercial organizations to deliver high-quality services in Education, Healthcare, Engineering, and Technology. We're looking for Food Service Team Members to support the Child Nutrition Program in Columbus, GA.
In this role, you’ll help prepare, cook, and serve meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and exposure to temperature changes.

What You’ll Do
Follow all USDA Child Nutrition Program guidelines
Prepare, cook, and serve food using standardized recipes
Assist with daily food prep schedules
Receive and inspect food and supply deliveries
Support inventory tracking of food, supplies, and equipment
Maintain strict cleaning, safety, and sanitation standards
Ensure food quality standards (temperature, appearance, taste) are met
Perform other duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a nationwide background check
1+ year of food service experience (or equivalent education/experience)
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with students, staff, vendors, and volunteers
Knowledge of food service equipment care, sanitation, and safety
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in various temperatures
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions
Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to quality service
