About This Position

BioCure is an Ambulatory Infusion Suite (AIS) management company that provides oversight and clinical nursing services for physician-based infusion centers. We are currently seeking a dedicated infusion nurse who is passionate about patient care and committed to improving outcomes to join our team in one of our neurology infusion suites.


Responsibilities

  • Ownership of in-suite patient care.
  • Mix and set-up all medications.
  • Initiate and maintain IV access.
  • Safely and accurately administer IV infusions.
  • Monitor patients during infusion process.
  • Appropriately manage treatment complications.
  • Facilitate communication with the physician practice.
  • Document visits via electronic medical record.
  • Track supplies inventory and reorder as needed and maintain scheduling.
  • Create calm, safe and professional atmosphere.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing and current RN state license.
  • 5 years nursing experience – Infusion, ICU or ER preferred.
  • 2 years infusion experience.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical charting.
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

  • The employee is regularly required to stand, walk and sit, as well as talk and hear.
  • The employee is required to use hands to operate office equipment.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.

The pay range for this role is:
45 - 45 USD per hour(Madison, AL)
