Nurse- Eye Center (FT/OR Circulator)

• Has basic understanding of donning sterile gloves and PPE for performing sterile surgical prep and maintaining sterile fields.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver Nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Verify the identity of the patient, significant allergies, medical history, and surgical location prior to surgery.
• Perform circulating functions such as monitoring, recording, and managing overall nursing care of patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Responsible for the readiness of the OR for each patient including equipment, supplies, and medications.
• OR experience preferred but not required.
• Other duties as assigned.
