Bosch Building Technologies Integrator Business The regional system integration business called Bosch Building Technologies offers solutions and customized services for building security, energy efficiency, and building automation for commercial buildings and infrastructure projects Bosch started its Integrator Business in North America through the acquisition of Climatec in 2015. Climatec expanded Bosch’s role as a comprehensive supplier of energy, building automation and security solutions. Climatec is recognized in the building industry as an independent single-source integrator of critical building systems including energy services, building automation and security & life safety in the U.S. market. Job Summary:
Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful execution of construction and direct‑owner projects by coordinating technical, financial, and operational requirements from project kickoff through closeout. This role partners closely with sales, operations, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are accurately estimated, properly booked, and aligned with customer expectations and contractual scope. The Project Manager proactively identifies and resolves project risks, forecasts and manages costs, coordinates materials and installations, oversees invoicing and collections, and drives change order opportunities. They ensure all project documentation, engineered submittals, and schedules support productivity and quality outcomes while providing technical guidance throughout design, installation, commissioning, and ongoing building system support. Effective communication, leadership, and financial accountability are central to ensuring projects meet budget, schedule, and performance goals while delivering long‑term value to customers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:Provides input to sales and operations regarding the technical and business considerations for construction or direct owner projects. This input could be associated with areas such as estimating, value engineering, timing, special resource needs, or other aspects peculiar to specific projects.Ensures project documents, estimate, and other information are available to all necessary personnel to maximize Climatec / Bosch Building Technologies’ productivity on the project.Determines if customer expectations are similar to Climatec’s and if these can be achieved based upon Climatec / Bosch Building Technologies’ estimate or contractual scope. Provides feedback on this as appropriate internally and externally.Identifies and resolves potential project issues.Accurately forecasts costs for each area of the project and tracks these over time to achieve budget and forecast goals.Invoices projects timely and is actively engaged in collections to minimize aging.Coordinates material orders and timing with Material Coordinator to maximize cash flow and material handling efficiency. Ensures all equipment is compatible and will function properly to achieve the required sequences. Coordinates with Subcontractors or internal installation team to achieve maximum value in installations.Completes the monthly WIP re-forecast.Identifies change order opportunities and coordinates with sales to document, pursue, and book them.Communicate with internal employees as required to ensure Climatec / Bosch Building Technologies’ labor is accurate and timely and estimated productivity is achieved in all areas.Provide leadership and input to others as requested or required to assist in the accurate estimation, design, installation, start up, commissioning, and training for building systems.Communicate with external organizations as required such as consulting engineers, building owners, and other contractors to ensure accurate and timely engineering.Reviews all engineered submittals ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and customer expectations as well as location standards. As required, provide input on employee goals and progress on these to supervisors and managers.Other duties as assigned.Working Conditions: In general, the following conditions of the work environment are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderateWill be required to be on site with customers or contractors, with or without Paladin colleagues to manage the expectations and deliverables. Sites range from general office environments to new construction.Driving to customer sites is requiredLimited overnight travel may be required Additional Information: Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000Working Hours: This position generally works Monday- Friday, overtime and on call when necessaryTravel Requirements: Local, in the field.Benefits:
