Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Tax Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with compliance with all payroll tax regulations, manage tax reporting, and act as lead to dedicated team to deliver excellence in payroll tax operations. As Payroll Tax Lead, you will play a pivotal role in implementing efficient tax processes and strategies to optimize company financial operations and service for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of payroll tax activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Develop and implement payroll tax policies and procedures that align with the company's strategic objectives.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of all payroll tax returns and payments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing tax laws and regulations and communicate potential impacts to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to manage tax audits and inquiries promptly.
• Lead the payroll tax team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Analyze payroll tax processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and updates on payroll tax activities for senior management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll tax-relatedinquiries and provide expert advice to employees and management.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll tax management (SALT) or a related role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solvingskills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
