Description: New Tech Global is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a client in Conroe, TX.

Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for proactively procuring financial information from various sources and analyzing it for a better understanding of how operational budgets and finances are performing. This role requires a collaborative, goal-oriented, and solution-based approach to successfully manage a wide range of assigned critical finance and operational projects while meeting time-sensitive objectives and deadlines. The Senior Financial Analyst will contribute firsthand to the development, creation, and implementation of financial strategies that will propel the company into an increasingly successful future.

The position of Senior Financial Analyst works under the direction of the Director of Finance.

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Work with the business to help develop and maintain the budgets and forecasts. Analyze data, provide input and communicate business results, trends and outlooks concisely to various levels of management.
• Financial Controlling: Support Corporate Controller with period closing activities. Prepare, analyze and summarize periodic reporting including ledger closing and accruals. Assist with identifying and implementing effective financial controls.
• Supply Chain and Inventory analysis and forecasting: Analyze procurement and inventory data, forecast demand, and perform variance analysis on consumption versus budget.
• Inventory control support: Provides financial oversight for physical and cycle counts, investigates discrepancies, and helps resolve variances to maintain inventory accuracy
• Operational Process Improvement: Work with other departments; Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering - to understand and develop business processes and systems to improve and strengthen operational activities.
• Project support and ad hoc requests: Manage the development, preparation, and communication of ad hoc financial and business analytics on various projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study
• 5+ years of relevant FP&A experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Previous working experience with SAP

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or similar qualification
• Prior Oil & Gas industry experience
• Prior Internal or External Audit
• Prior Financial or Business analysis experience
• Experience working with Datasphere, OneStream systems

Additional Details:

The Senior Financial Analyst must work with an emphasis on individual safety and safety for others, including coworkers and third parties. Work is primarily in a climate controlled / office environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, or walk with occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending and frequent near vision use for reading and use of computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
