The Food Runner plays a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by ensuring food is delivered promptly, accurately, and attractively from the kitchen to guests. This position supports both the kitchen and service teams, helping maintain smooth operations during service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver food from the kitchen to tables quickly and efficiently
- Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and presented to quality standards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and guest needs
- Pre-bussing of tables, refilling water, and responding to guest requests when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and expo areas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Provide friendly, professional interactions with guests to enhance their dining experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays safely
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a supportive team
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Regular, reliable attendance required
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
