About This Position
Our Commercial Services Division is in need of an outside Salesperson working for Ford’s Hometown Services (FHS) is expected to attract and sell pest control services to new customers as well as to our already established customer base. This employee is detail-oriented; he/she has excellent command of the English language, and excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills. He/She is expected to hold a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record at all times.
Some of the job duties include:
Obtain MA Pesticide License to establish credibility with client and increase knowledge base of Sales Pro. Conduct site surveys on a regular basis, with the purpose of selling deeper into the account by recommending further use of services by FHS. Identify commercial prospects for the Pest division
Contact these prospects, on a regular basis, for the purpose of establishing a consulting relationship resulting in sales of pest control services.
In order to fulfill these responsibilities, the Sales Representative will be expected to have knowledge of customer-focused selling strategies and techniques. Although Ford’s Hometown will provide ongoing training as needed, the Outside Salesperson is expected to have expertise in the sale of pest control services, and must be able to perform satisfactorily on all essential duties.
Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, some overtime or varied hours may occur
