The Spirit of the Position:
The Director of Healthcare Services supports the Market Leader with a complete oversight for financials and operations of assigned portfolio to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Director of Healthcare Services will support the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and help to support the individual needs of their operational teams throughout their assigned portfolio.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid financial acumen, organizational and analytical excellence, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment through collaborative leadership skills.
Position Requirements
The individual assigned to this position must:
- Be reliable to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Provide excellent organizational skills.
- Possess analytical and detail-oriented thinking.
- Be adept in Microsoft Excel/Word platforms.
- Possess the financial acumen commensurate with budget development and the ability to read, analyze and generate responses to financial Profit & Loss statements
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate oral and written detailed information to clients, staff and internal leadership.
- Properly identify priorities to meet simultaneous deadlines.
- Ability to work beyond standard schedule as required.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The individual in this position will be responsible for:
Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the staff to achieve annual and periodic goals.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment consistent with the LAZ culture of People First.
- Develop career paths and succession plans for all high- potential employees and pathways to improvement for sub-standard performers
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency with the objective of generating continuous improvement of the operations.
- Assess current administrative processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with business development, proposals, presentations and transitions of new accounts.
Budgeting and Financial.
- Generate and adhere to annual budgets, maximizing revenue and controlling expenses consistent with internal and client standards for all operations under your purview.
- Define, maintain, and distribute financial reports to in accordance with internal and client expectations
Policy Development:
- Create, review, update, and establish accountability of all Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Technology and Systems:
- Implement and manage technology solutions as provided by regional and corporate support.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in administrative services toward the achievement of annual and periodic goals/requirement.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure business retention and optimize new business opportunities
- Serve as a liaison to all stakeholder groups and communicate with local police and emergency management teams as required.
- Provide professional and exemplary customer support in all interactions.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across both internal and external customers.
Internal Business Accounts
- Coordination and facilitation of LAZ business accounts, inclusive of regulatory licensing requirements.
Other Assigned Duties:
- As assigned by local, regional and corporate leadership
Physical Demands
- Willingness to work in the elements heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
