Audio-Visual Technician at Video Reality Inc – Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

General Requirements / Daily Tasks: • Perform general product installations per manufacturer specifications; including but not limited to: o Solder cables o Terminate cables o Mount Displays o Hang Speakers o Pull wire and cables o Install AV Equipment • Perform general service calls • Keep warehouse clean, including: o Sweep o Take out trash o break down boxes • Keep vans clean and maintained, report maintenance as needed to Installation Manager • Turn in expense reports and receipts for assigned expense account • Inventory responsibilities: o Count inventory received o Turn packing slips into the Order Management Professional o Restock items received o Inform Installation Manager of low stocking items • Keep track or personal tools, company tools, and other company devices used for installs and service calls • Acquire correct customer sign-off records at the end of installation and turn into Installation Manager Physical Requirements and Work Environment • Lift 80lbs minimum, Sit, Squat, Stand, Bend, Reach, Crawl, & Climb • Carry tools & equipment up and down several flights of stairs • Work and stand for several hours without breaks • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors year round • Work on ladders and lifts for extended periods of time • Good Eyesight and Manual Dexterity for Terminating Cables and connectors Other Requirements • 21 years of age or older • Travel for several consecutive overnight stays • Must use own basic hand tools like screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, etc. Training & Certifications • Commercial AV installation experience is preferred • Manufacturer of Online Training Courses • Accredited Continuing Education Opportunities for CTS Certification • An apprenticeship may be required if basic skills and entry exam do not meet minimum criteria Benefits • Paid Holidays and PTO plan • Group Health Insurance & Dental • Matching 401K Other notes: Absolutely no persons with a felony conviction or any type of sexual misconduct on record can be employed by Video Reality due to the nature of the business, various government contracts and relationships, and other contracts with state entities that exclude these persons from working on their premises, such as schools and various state entities.
