DESCRIPTION

As a barista you’ll create memorable customer experiences by providing fast, friendly service and consistent, quality products. This role is responsible for performing all job duties in a manner consistent with current company processes and procedures and maintaining all food safety and sanitation standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Greet customers, take orders, prepare and serve beverages, as well as various sweet offerings, in accordance to established recipe and aesthetic guidelines (i.e., coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas, pastries).
• Welcome questions & efficiently serve customers by being knowledgeable of offerings.
• Clean, sanitize and maintain store.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Stock and replenish food, beverages, and utensils as needed.
• Ensure consistent product availability by keeping adequate inventory; communicate shortages as necessary.
• Assist with receiving, unloading, and distributing deliveries.
• Demonstrate genuine appreciation to each customer.
• Additional duties as assigned.
