Location: NAS Jacksonville, Jacksonville, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Day Shift, 0700–1500
Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance Required
Position Status: Contingent Upon Contract Award

Position Summary

Resicum International, LLC is seeking an experienced Aircraft Logs and Records Technician to support P-8A aircraft maintenance operations at NAS Jacksonville in support of VP-62.

The Aircraft Logs and Records Technician is responsible for maintaining accurate aircraft and engine logbooks, maintenance records, electronic data, reports, and other documentation supporting aircraft maintenance operations.

This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work closely with aircraft maintenance personnel to ensure maintenance documentation is accurate, complete, and properly maintained.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain aircraft and engine logbooks and associated maintenance records.
  • Perform aircraft maintenance data entry and retrieval.
  • Review maintenance documentation for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
  • Identify and correct discrepancies or errors in aircraft maintenance records.
  • Enter, update, and maintain electronic aircraft maintenance data.
  • Extract maintenance data and prepare reports as required.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical maintenance records.
  • Create and maintain archives, backups, and data files.
  • Support aircraft records requirements during deployments and detachments.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and other maintenance-related documentation.
  • Perform database and records-management functions.
  • Assist with identifying and resolving data-entry or system-related discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with aircraft maintenance personnel to ensure required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain records in accordance with applicable Navy aircraft maintenance procedures and local operating instructions.
  • Protect sensitive aircraft and maintenance information and maintain appropriate records security.
  • Perform other administrative and records-management duties necessary to support aircraft maintenance operations.
Requirements: Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience maintaining aircraft maintenance records, logbooks, or aviation documentation.
  • Strong computer, data-entry, and records-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to accurately enter, review, retrieve, and manage large amounts of maintenance data.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and correct errors in maintenance documentation.
  • Ability to prepare reports and correspondence using standard computer applications.
  • Ability to work effectively with aircraft maintenance personnel, supervisors, and other members of the maintenance team.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a maintenance team.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required P-8A qualifications and training.
  • Ability to work the scheduled 0700–1500 day shift.
  • Ability to meet all applicable security and NAS Jacksonville installation access requirements.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • P-8A aircraft maintenance records experience preferred.
  • U.S. Navy aviation maintenance experience preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting military aircraft maintenance operations.
  • Familiarity with Navy aircraft maintenance documentation and recordkeeping procedures.
  • NAMP experience preferred.
  • Experience with computerized aircraft maintenance or logistics systems.
  • Experience supporting aircraft deployments or detachments.
Security Requirement

Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Candidates must be able to maintain the required security clearance and meet all applicable background investigation, CAC, and NAS Jacksonville installation access requirements.
