Cafeteria Worker Part-Time in Kansas City, Missouri at St Peter Catholic Church Kansas City

St. Peter Catholic School, in the Brookside neighborhood of Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Cafeteria Worker. The ideal candidate will provide a cordial atmosphere for school students and staff; bring applicable knowledge and skills; and foster a positive team morale. This position is part-time, based on a 20-hour workweek, and reports to the principal.

Essential Duties

• Set up cafeteria before lunch and clean up after
• Processes POS Transactions
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Restock napkin dispensers
• Assist with food preparation and production
• Clean lunch dishes and commercial food production equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be organized and efficient
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain Kansas City Food Handler Certification
• Customer service experience is preferred
• Prior cafeteria or food services experience is preferred
