Job Description

Senior Product Marketing Manager, AI Platform

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, AI Platform based in the United States.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you’ll own the positioning, messaging, launches, and sales enablement for two core AI platform areas spanning agent orchestration and AI-powered customer resolution. This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role where you’ll work closely with Product, Sales, and technical teams to translate sophisticated AI capabilities into compelling market narratives. You’ll operate in an environment where products evolve rapidly and buyers expect meaningful technical depth rather than generic AI messaging. Your work will help technical and business audiences understand the value of AI agents, evaluation, steering, and measurement. You’ll lead major go-to-market initiatives end to end while balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The role is well suited to a builder who thrives in fast-moving AI environments, communicates complex concepts clearly, and brings strong independent judgment.

Accountabilities:
  • Own positioning and messaging for AI platform products, grounding narratives in how the technology actually works, including agent behavior, steering, evaluation, and measurement.
  • Develop and execute launch strategies across product launches of varying sizes, coordinating closely with Product, Sales, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Independently own major, high-visibility go-to-market launches end to end, from strategy and narrative development through execution.
  • Create sales enablement materials including talk tracks, demo narratives, competitive positioning, objection handling, and other resources that can withstand technical evaluations.
  • Translate complex AI and platform capabilities into clear, credible stories that resonate with both customer experience leaders and technical stakeholders.
  • Conduct and synthesize market and competitive intelligence across the AI agent and platform landscape, feeding insights into product and go-to-market decisions.
  • Stay closely connected to product and technology developments, including changes in AI models, agent behavior, evaluation approaches, and steering capabilities.
  • Use AI tools extensively in research, drafting, analysis, and content development, while helping evolve AI-assisted product marketing practices.
  • Balance multiple product areas simultaneously, prioritize high-impact work, and operate with significant autonomy and minimal oversight.

Requirements:

  • Experience in product marketing or closely related work for AI/ML products, ideally involving LLM-based products, AI agents, developer platforms, or other technically sophisticated products.
  • Technical fluency with modern AI systems and the ability to explain how LLM-based agents work at a high level, as well as the practical importance of evaluation and agent steering.
  • Ability to communicate credibly with technical buyers, engineers, and other technically sophisticated stakeholders without needing to build models yourself.
  • Demonstrated daily use of AI tools for research, drafting, analysis, content creation, or other aspects of your work, along with a thoughtful perspective on how AI is changing the PMM discipline.
  • Strong senior individual contributor judgment, including the ability to manage multiple product areas, prioritize effectively, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent writing and narrative development skills, with the ability to move between technical explainers, product messaging, sales materials, and executive-level positioning.
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy, product launches, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement.
  • Ability to quickly understand complex products and convert technical functionality into clear customer value propositions.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Product, Sales, Engineering, and other teams.
  • Comfort operating in a rapidly changing AI product environment where technology, market expectations, and competitive dynamics evolve quickly.
  • This is a senior individual contributor role with no people-management responsibilities.
  • This position focuses on product marketing rather than product management, demand generation, content marketing, or campaign ownership.

Benefits:

  • Annual base salary of $150,000–$185,000 USD.
  • Equity compensation and stock options.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Generous paid time off and parental leave.
  • Home office stipend.
  • Fully remote work environment within the United States.
  • Opportunities for in-person team gatherings.
  • Strong opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Inclusive, collaborative workplace that values diverse perspectives.
  • Opportunity to work directly on AI products and incorporate AI tools into daily workflows.
  • Mission-driven environment focused on transforming customer experiences through AI.
  • Final compensation may vary based on factors including geographic location, experience, and expertise.
