Concession Stand Worker in Chesterfield, Missouri at CarShield Sportsplex

The CarShield Sportsplex is seeking upbeat and dependable Concession Stand Workers to serve athletes, families, and fans during games, leagues, tournaments, and special events. Team members will take orders, prepare and serve menu items, process payments, restock supplies, and keep the concession area clean and welcoming. The ideal candidate is friendly, accurate, and comfortable working at a fast pace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests, answer menu questions, and take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Prepare and serve approved menu items according to recipes, portion guidelines, and quality standards.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process cash and card payments accurately.
• Restock food, beverages, condiments, paper products, and other supplies throughout the shift.
• Monitor product freshness, holding temperatures, and stock rotation.
• Maintain clean counters, equipment, floors, and guest-facing areas.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, handwashing, and workplace-safety procedures.
• Communicate product shortages, equipment concerns, and guest issues to a supervisor.
• Assist with opening, closing, inventory, and other assigned duties.
• Work collaboratively with cooks and other food and beverage employees during peak periods.

• Previous concessions, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly and professional communication skills.
• Ability to learn menu items, food-handling procedures, and point-of-sale functions.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle payments accurately.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift or carry up to 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, tournaments, holidays, and special events as scheduled.
• Food-handler certification is preferred or must be obtained if required for the position.
