Job Description

Talent Acquisition Lead, AI-Native Hire

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead, AI-Native Hire based in Canada.

The Talent Acquisition Lead will own end-to-end hiring for high-priority roles while helping shape how AI and automation transform the recruitment function. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced talent professional who enjoys both recruiting and building better systems. You will manage sourcing, pipelines, stakeholder alignment, offers, and closing while continuously looking for ways to make hiring more efficient. A key part of the role will be testing internal AI hiring tools, identifying gaps, and helping improve the workflows that support recruitment. You will also strengthen interviewing capabilities through structured processes, competency frameworks, and fair evaluation practices. The role is fully remote and offers significant influence in a fast-moving, collaborative, multicultural environment.

Accountabilities
  • Own the full talent acquisition lifecycle for the organization's most business-critical roles, including sourcing, pipeline development, candidate management, offers, and closing.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to understand hiring needs, translate them into clear recruitment plans, and maintain alignment throughout the process.

  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines while delivering a high-quality and consistent candidate experience.

  • Test and evaluate AI-powered hiring tools as a beta user, providing actionable feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Help shape the development of AI-enabled recruitment workflows by identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and contributing to new processes where appropriate.

  • Apply an automation-first mindset to recruiting activities, designing workflows that reduce repetitive manual work and improve efficiency.

  • Develop and strengthen interviewing capabilities across the organization through structured interview processes, competency frameworks, interviewer training, and calibration.

  • Coach interviewers and stakeholders on effective, consistent, and fair candidate evaluation practices.

  • Champion a culture-focused hiring approach that reflects organizational values in both the candidate and interviewer experience.

  • Continuously assess recruitment processes and identify opportunities to improve quality, speed, consistency, and scalability.

  • Contribute to a collaborative, transparent, and globally distributed People function.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a demonstrated track record of successfully hiring in fast-moving environments.

  • Strong full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, pipeline management, stakeholder management, offer negotiation, and closing.

  • Genuine enthusiasm for artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging recruitment technologies, with a natural tendency to identify opportunities to eliminate manual work.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and influence stakeholders, build trust quickly, and maintain alignment with senior leaders.

  • Experience developing interviewing capabilities in others, including interviewer training, competency frameworks, structured interview processes, and evaluation calibration.

  • Strong understanding of effective, consistent, and candidate-focused hiring practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions, seniority levels, and time zones.

  • Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high hiring standard.

  • A builder's mindset and willingness to test, challenge, and improve the tools and processes you use.

  • Experience working in a culture-first organization is an asset, particularly where values are actively reflected in day-to-day practices.

  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for helping design and improve AI-enabled recruitment tools and workflows.

Benefits
  • Fully remote position available anywhere in Canada.

  • Competitive salary range of CA$95,000–CA$115,000 per year, with final compensation based on skills, qualifications, experience, internal equity, market conditions, and business needs.

  • Generous vacation plan.

  • Flat and transparent organizational structure.

  • Multicultural, collaborative, and friendly work environment.

  • Opportunity to work alongside passionate professionals across functions and time zones.

  • Significant exposure to AI-powered recruitment technology and automation.

  • Opportunity to influence how AI tools and workflows are developed and used within talent acquisition.

  • High level of ownership and autonomy in a fast-moving environment.

  • Opportunities to contribute to meaningful improvements in hiring practices and organizational growth.
