Community Manager (CAM)

Location: Orem, Utah 84097
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $65,000–$70,000 per year

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an HOA community, support the Board of Directors, and help ensure a positive experience for all residents.

The Community Manager serves as the primary liaison between homeowners, the Board of Directors, vendors, and service providers. This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance, enforcing community rules, managing budgets, facilitating communication, and supporting the long-term success of the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of day-to-day community management for the HOA.
  • Attend and facilitate regular Board and committee meetings.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets and financial reports.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance, landscaping, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with HOA governing documents and applicable laws.
  • Respond to homeowner inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage architectural requests and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
  • Monitor the property for rule violations, maintenance needs, and other community concerns.
  • Assist with community events and resident engagement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with homeowners, Board members, vendors, and service providers.
Requirements:

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2+ years of HOA or property management experience preferred.
  • CMCA or equivalent certification is a bonus.
  • Strong knowledge of HOA operations and governing practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and follow-through abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for meetings and community events.
