Business Development Executive, Southern California in Santa Ana, California at Dot Printer Inc

The Dot Printer is adding additional robotics to our West Coast fulfillment center. That adds capacity and new pick locations, and we need a seller to fill them with new clients. This role will sell to Southern California brands that want a fulfillment partner close to home. Our clients include apparel and lifestyle brands that value a local partner.

Responsibilities

• Build and work a list of Southern California apparel and consumer brands that fit our service.
• Meet founders, operations leads, and buyers, in person or by video, and visit them when needed.
• Learn each brand’s order volume, SKU count, and growth plans, and match them to our services.
• Write proposals, pricing, and negotiate terms.
• Hand each signed client to our operations team with clear notes on what was promised.
• Work with our internal team to get client work done.
• Keep clean records in our CRM.

• At least 5 years of selling to brands, retailers, or vendors in Southern California.
• Real relationships with founders, operations leads, or buyers at apparel or consumer brands in the region.
• A record of meeting or beating a sales target.
• Comfort with a CRM and clean record-keeping.

Preferred

• Experience selling 3PL, warehouse, or fulfillment services.
• Hands-on knowledge of Shopify, Amazon, or DTC order operations.
• Time in brand operations, merchandising, or production.
• Interest in warehouse automation.

Schedule

• This position is primarily remote, but on-site meetings are required.
• Work hours should coincide with business hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Compensation

• $72,500.00 - $80,000.00 per year
• Monthly commissions
