UGA Finance overview:
• UGA Finance specializes in 3rd party contract servicing and payment collection from consumers across the country.
• Established in 2001 – We operate with retail establishments in all 50 states.
• 90 employees across 5 departments, 1 office location in Parkville, MO
• We finance and service installment contracts originated at the point of sale by merchants. Common industries are elective healthcare, training seminars, membership services, consumer products, and education.
• When a consumer wants to have a payment option rather than using cash or a credit card, we partner with merchants to offer consumers promotional financing. Our contact center billing department collects payments during servicing.
• UGA Finance is our program name for three separate entities:
Universal Guardian Acceptance – Purchases contracts
Universal Account Servicing – Account servicing and billing
Omega-RMS - Collections
Job Summary: The IT Intern will work under the direction of a full-time designated IT employee and is responsible for miscellaneous IT Network or Development tasks and projects. This is a non-exempt/hourly role.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Assist in business process improvement through effective and efficient IT system solutions.
- Provide Tier II Support, including bug fix and documented updates.
- Assist users with report design and management.
- Implement training plans, materials, and documentation for users, keeping materials up-to-date. Coordinate new user and ongoing training sessions for Universal Companies and its Clients.

- Strong technical skills, with ability to learn/administer the following equipment: Personal Computer/laptop, printers, multi-line telephone, fax machine, photocopier, adding machine, and software including Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
- Basic knowledge of AD, Networking, and PC Setup OR programming languages.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and documentation.
Work Experience:
- Strong technical background/aptitude.
Training and Education:
- Enrollment in an educational program focused on Information Technology degree/certification preferred.
- Complete all required training as assigned.
