Flyover is an award-winning immersive flying theatre experience that transports guests through the planet’s most epic places. The attraction utilizes flight motion seats engineered to swoop, dip and turn, giving guests a feeling of flight, while a 65-foot spherical screen provides guests with an unparalleled fight across iconic locations and natural landscapes. Special effects, including wind, mist and scents, to create an unforgettable entertainment experience. Flyover attractions are located in Chicago; Las Vegas; Reykjavik, Iceland; and Vancouver, Canada.


About the role

Flyover is seeking an Administrative Supervisor to join the team! The focus of this role is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Administration Team while coordinating across various departments across the organization. Responsibilities include coordinating day-to day administrative tasks, collaborating closely with departments such as Sales, Marketing, Guest Experience, and Finance, and communicating with vendors.

Compensation: $28.00 USD per hour, paid biweekly on Fridays in accordance with Flyover’s regular payroll schedule.

What you'll do

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate daily operations of the Administration Team, support Administrative Assistants and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
  • Complete the daily cash reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy in reporting, timely bank deposits, and the integrity of the attraction’s overall cash float through established controls and checks
  • Assist with vendor set-up and purchase orders; maintain supplier relationships; administer accounts payable, including invoice coding and monthly finance tasks
  • Perform voucher reconciliation and billing, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing to partners
  • Respond to guest and vendor inquiries via email, phone, and chat; follow the guest feedback and complaint resolution processes
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of office supplies
  • Provide administrative support to the General Manager and the attractions’ Management team
  • Other duties as required

Education & Experience

Education:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field; a diploma or degree is preferred
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

Ideal Experience:

  • A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in administrative or office coordination roles
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or lead administrative position is an asset
  • Experience with cash handling, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, or basic bookkeeping is often required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook); familiarity with accounting or point-of-sale (POS) software is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods while performing administrative tasks
  • Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and other standard office equipment
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of office supplies, documents, or equipment (typically up to 20 lbs)
  • Ability to move throughout the attraction or office as needed to support cross-departmental coordination
  • Occasional bending, reaching, or kneeling when handling supplies or accessing stored materials
