TITLE: Senior Account Executive
DEPARTMENT: Public Relations
REPORTS TO: Account Supervisor or AccountDirector
Red Thread PR is looking for an Senior Account Executive!Our SAE helps us achieve and merchandise our efforts and demonstrate our valueto clients. This position is responsible for executing assignments that supportstrategic communications plans, activations, media relations outreachinfluencer engagement, brand partnership/sponsorships, as well as research,reporting and trouble shooting. It requires collaborative work within thedepartment and agency, active participation in meetings, extreme attention todetail, and an eye for trending news and cultural moment. Professionalmaturity, strong organizational and time management skills and meticulousattention to detail are crucial to success in this role.
This position is responsible for 4-6 client relationshipsand the execution of public relations tactics all while ensuring that intendedoutcomes are met. In this role, you would be responsible for executingstrategic plans and messaging for several clients (including global, nationaland regional brands) and intervention for problem solving and crisismanagement. It requires collaborative work within both the PR departmentand agency at-large, strategic thinking and proven executional experience withpaid, owned and earned media tactics.
RESPONSIBILITES:
· Support4-6 diverse clients at a time, executing public relations tactics, buildingclient relationships, as well as reporting and measurement.
· Supportclients in insurance, financial service, QSR industries
· Executingagainst clients' plans and supporting account teams in exceeding clients' goals
· Maintainingclient relationships and ensuring that intended outcomes are met
· Reportingand measurement of media coverage
· Collaboratingextensively within Red Thread PR and across Brownstein's sister agencies
· Successfullysecuring editorial coverage; proactive media outreach every day is required!Must be passionate about media relations; must be hungry for headlines!
· Executewell-written thought leadership materials
· Thinkcreatively and strategically; identify issues and problem solve proactively
· Managea variety of tactics within an integrated communications platform
· Understandcomplex subject matter across a variety of industries
· Writefor a wide variety of audiences
· Coordinateevent logistics
· Monitorthe media and produce reporting materials
· Providinga well-articulated point of view on industry trends, news makers andcommunication strategy.
· Maintaininginternal documents and status as they relate to all facets of a project solocating is easy and intuitive for all team members
· Takingdetailed and organized notes and providing meeting recaps
· Keepinga pulse on relevant industry and client news
· Receivingfeedback with positive attitude and adopting it across all accounts
· MUSTBE LOCAL TO PHILADELPHIA!
· Requiredto be in office at 215 S. Broad Street every Tuesday; remoteall other days
· Requiredto be at select client events and meetings in Philadelphia region, asappropriate
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 4-yeardegree with concentration in PR, Journalism, Communication or English
· Minimum3 years' AGENCY experience
· Strongwriting skills and writing samples
· Understandingof both traditional and non-traditional PR tactics
· Knowledgeof media relations and activations and executional processes
· Provenmedia relations results and sample work
· Experiencesupporting PR campaigns and plans and proven executional excellence
· Experiencereporting and measuring campaign success
· Eventmanagement and vendor management experience
· Knowledgeof media monitoring and AI tools
· Excellentclient service and interpersonal communication skills
