Job Description
The Site Manager is the overall leader of their repair shop location. This role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the shop — from quoting and winning repair work, to scheduling and executing jobs, to building a team and culture that produces exceptional quality and continuous improvement. The Site Manager owns their shop's financial performance, operational discipline, and customer reputation. They collaborate closely with their assigned Product Manager on go-to-market strategy and customer quoting for their product lines, and they actively support the broader Triosim network by leveraging their shop's unique capabilities to reduce subcontracting costs across locations. The Site Lead is expected to lead with a continuous improvement mindset, driving Lean/Six Sigma culture into the business while maintaining a safe and organized facility, to grow the site's contribution to Triosim's overall profitability.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
– Create a culture of safety first, driving for zero lost time incidents. Lead the site's safety program with full accountability; the shop must meet or exceed all OSHA General Industry standards, and the Site Lead sets the tone for safety culture through their own behavior and the expectations they hold the team to.
– Own the site P&L in its entirety: revenue, gross margin, labor productivity, material costs, overhead management, and controllable operating income versus budget.
– Quote all incoming repair and rebuild work for the site; develop accurate, competitive estimates using Triosim's QES quoting tool in alignment with Finance-approved rates.
– Collaborate with the Product Manager on quoting, pricing strategy, and margin optimization for specialty product line work; bring shop cost and capacity knowledge to every product-line pricing conversation.
– Develop and execute the site's go-to-market strategy for its designated products in partnership with the Product Manager; understand where the market opportunity is and ensure the shop has the capability and capacity to capitalize on it.
– Build and maintain direct customer relationships for the site; respond to customer inquiries, manage expectations on turnaround times, and ensure that every customer interaction reflects the professionalism and technical credibility Triosim expects.
– Own the production schedule for the shop; ensure that jobs are sequenced intelligently, labor is deployed efficiently, customer commitments are met, and overtime is managed.
– Maintain shop capacity awareness at all times; communicate near-term capacity constraints or surpluses to the VP of Manufacturing and coordinate with other Triosim locations to balance workload across the network when appropriate.
– Ensure the shop is maintained as a clean, organized, and professional working environment at all times; 5S principles and visual workplace standards are the baseline expectation.
– Apply a continuous improvement mindset to all aspects of shop operations.
– Own quality at the site level; work product leaving the shop must meet specification and be documented as such. Rework is tracked, root-caused, and used as a driver for process improvement.
– Lead hiring decisions for the site in coordination with HR; build a workforce that has the technical depth to execute the site's specialty product work and the general repair capability to serve the full range of customer needs.
– Conduct regular performance conversations with direct reports; address performance issues promptly, recognize strong contributors, and invest in the development of the people who make the site run.
– Review job-level financial performance on a regular cadence with Finance and FP&A; understand where the site is winning and losing on margin and take ownership of improving the numbers that are within the site's control.
– Ensure all required certifications, equipment inspections, environmental compliance documentation, and safety records for the site are current and maintained.
– Ensure site operations are aligned with corporate directives and objectives.
POSITION TYPE / HOURS
Full-time, Exempt. Standard shop hours with flexibility required to meet customer commitments and manage production demands. Periodic extended hours during peak workload periods.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
– 7-10 years of experience in industrial repair, manufacturing, or heavy mechanical services with demonstrated progression into a leadership or management role.
– Direct experience managing a shop or production environment with P&L accountability or strong exposure to job costing, estimating, and margin management.
– Technical background in one or more of Triosim's core repair disciplines: pumps, rotating equipment, rolls, refiners, wire, surface engineering, or related mechanical systems are highly desired.
– Demonstrated experience leading teams in a safety-first industrial environment; working knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards.
– Experience quoting and estimating repair and rebuild work; ability to read technical drawings, work orders, and OEM specifications.
– Strong financial literacy; ability to read and manage to a P&L, understand job-level margins, and make operational decisions with cost and profitability in mind.
– Entrepreneurial ownership mindset; treats the site as their business and makes decisions accordingly — with urgency, financial discipline, and accountability.
– Experience with continuous improvement programs and processes to include Lean/Six Sigma to drive a culture of improvement and employee engagement resulting in reduced water, increased throughput, and quality results across the operations.
– Uncompromising standards for safety and shop cleanliness; understands that a well-run shop is a visible signal of the company's values and a direct reflection of leadership.
– Strong communicator across all levels; credible on the shop floor with craft workers and equally capable of presenting financial results and operational plans to senior leadership.
– Collaborative by nature; willing to share capacity, knowledge, and capability with other Triosim locations and understands that the network wins when individual sites support each other.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
