Take your clinical social work career on the road with an exciting travel opportunity in Alaska!Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our healthcare team at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska.The successful candidate will provide comprehensive clinical social work services to patients and families while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities include assessing psychosocial needs, providing clinical interventions and counseling, offering crisis support, educating patients and families, and coordinating appropriate care to promote overall well-being.Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and evaluate patients' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling as appropriate.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing emotional or situational difficulties.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and support treatment goals.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding available resources and support services.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow applicable professional standards and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
  • Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license required.
  • Relevant clinical social work experience required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion in a clinical setting.
