Job Description
SUMMARY
This role is responsible for assembling and testing Atos products to ensure they conform to company standards and customer specifications. The position adheres to company approved procedures and demonstrates knowledge of technical specifications, test plans, drawings, schematics, and machine operations. The assembler/tester maintains compliance with ISO requirements.
This is a safety sensitive position. The assembler/tester operates production, assembly, and testing machinery and equipment, including motorized forklift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow company-approved procedures to assemble and inspect products for sale
- Test, measure, and analyze products using company instruments and equipment
- Accurately select materials and equipment required for the unique order on hand
- Monitor machine automation to prevent hazards or product errors
- Maintain organized records of tested and inspected products
- Clean and repair machines as required
- Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts
- Ability to identify defective parts, label, and segregate as necessary for QA inspection.
- Collaborate with international teams and across cultures.
- All other duties as assigned within the scope of the job description.

Requirements:MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, or supply chain in an industrial operations environment
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles
- Analytical and problem-solving aptitude
- Forklift certification
- Must possess valid driver’s license

- Perform basic math (including fractions, rations, and proportions), as well as geometry and trigonometry
- Meet quality and productivity standards as defined by the company
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described below must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Will be required to stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift
- Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers
- Will be required to walk, reach with hands and arms, push items overhead, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Will be required to talk, hear, and see. Vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and ability to differentiate between colors
- Regular lifting and moving of up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs/ladders
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This position primarily works in a production/assembly environment
- May be exposed to unpleasant sights and smells
- May at times be exposed to toxic substances and must take necessary precautions to protect eyes, nose and skin from irritation and infection. Use of PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat and safety shoes) may be required
