About the role

As the Total Rewards & HR Operations Manager, you will be the architect of our people infrastructure in the US. Anchored primarily in Total Rewards, you will lead the design and localization of our compensation and benefits framework to ensure we remain competitive in the US tech market. You will also build and optimize HR operational processes and systems, bridging our global philosophy with US market practices.

What you'll do

1. Total Rewards Strategy & Execution

Compensation Design: Build and manage US-specific salary structures, equity programs, and incentive plans aligned with market benchmarks.

Benefits Localization: Design, implement, and lead the annual renewal of comprehensive US benefits packages (Health/Dental/Vision, 401k, LTD/STD, Wellness). Source and manage local brokers and vendors for cost-efficiency and competitiveness.

Pay Transparency & Equity: Manage compliance with CA/NY pay transparency laws and conduct regular pay equity audits.

Incentive Alignment: Partner with HQ to translate global performance-based rewards into locally resonant schemes.

2. HR Operations & System Localization

Process Localization: Design end-to-end HR workflows (onboarding, lifecycle changes, offboarding, leave management) compliant with US federal/state laws.

System Implementation: Lead US HRIS implementation or optimization (e.g., Rippling, Workday), supporting payroll, benefits enrollment, and reporting needs.

Policy Adaptation: Author and maintain the US Employee Handbook and local HR policies reflecting both company culture and US legal requirements.

3. Strategic Partnership & Compliance

Cross-Border Liaison: Serve as the primary bridge between the US office and Global HQ, ensuring alignment on both strategic goals and local market realities.

Regulatory Oversight: Act as subject matter expert on US labor regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.), mitigating risk through proactive policy and training.

Data-Driven Insights: Develop HR dashboards providing leadership with visibility into turnover, compensation spend, and benefits utilization.

Qualifications

Experience: 5–8 years of HR experience in the US tech sector, with at least 3 years specializing in Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits).

Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of US benefits administration, 401k management, and equity program structures common in high-growth tech companies.

System Fluency: Proven experience leading or contributing to HRIS implementation/optimization. Strong proficiency in data analysis (Excel/Google Sheets/BI tools).

Global Mindset: Experience in an international or cross-border organizational structure, with ability to navigate cultural nuances and align diverse stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field. Professional certifications (CCP, CEBS, PHR/SPHR) are a plus.
