Located at Keweenaw Waters Resort, Trailside Kitchen & Market is a convenient and welcoming destination for resort guests and the local community. From freshly prepared meals and grab-and-go favorites to everyday essentials, coffee, ice cream, and souvenirs, Trailside offers a little something for everyone.

We’re looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic Crew Members to join the Trailside Kitchen & Market team! This is a hands-on, team-oriented role for someone who enjoys working with people, staying busy, and learning new skills.

As a Crew Member, you’ll help keep daily operations running smoothly by assisting customers, preparing food and beverages, operating the register, maintaining a clean and organized space, and supporting the overall guest experience. No two days are exactly alike, and we’re looking for team players who are willing to jump in wherever they’re needed.

• Customer Service: Welcome guests, answer questions, assist with purchases, and provide friendly, helpful service to resort visitors and local customers.
• Register & Sales: Operate the point-of-sale system, process cash and card transactions, handle orders accurately, and assist customers with market purchases.
• Food Preparation: Prepare and assemble menu items such as pizzas, sandwiches, and other kitchen offerings according to recipes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines.
• Food & Beverage Service: Assist with coffee, ice cream, grab-and-go items, and other offerings while keeping service areas stocked and presentable.
• Market Operations: Restock shelves and coolers, organize merchandise, monitor product availability, and help maintain an inviting shopping environment.
• Cleaning & Sanitation: Keep the kitchen, dining and service areas, counters, equipment, and customer spaces clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
• Teamwork: Communicate with coworkers, support other areas of the operation as needed, and help create a positive and efficient work environment.
• Opening & Closing Duties: Assist with daily setup, restocking, cleaning, cash-handling procedures, and closing tasks.
• Guest Experience: Help create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the spirit of Keweenaw Waters Resort and the surrounding Keweenaw community.

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks.
• Willingness to learn food preparation, register operations, and daily restaurant procedures.
• Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace guidelines.
• Previous restaurant, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. We’re happy to train the right person!
