We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to serve in a dual role as our Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and MDS Manager. This leadership position is responsible for supporting the Director of Nursing in the daily clinical operations of the facility while overseeing the MDS process to ensure accurate assessments, regulatory compliance, and appropriate reimbursement.
Responsibilities- Assist the Director of Nursing with the daily management of nursing services.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to nursing staff.
- Coordinate and complete resident assessments (MDS), care plans, and required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
- Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote quality resident outcomes.
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
- Assist with survey readiness, infection prevention efforts, and clinical audits.
- Support staffing, employee education, and clinical competency development.
- Promote a positive, resident-centered culture focused on exceptional care.

Requirements: Qualifications- Current Texas LVN license in good standing.
- Long-term care experience required.
- Previous MDS experience preferred.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and long-term care regulations.
Work Environment:
- Long-term care facility setting.
- Exposure to residents with varying levels of care needs.
- May include evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
