089 Corporate Payroll Specialist in Cinnaminson, New Jersey at Forman Mills Inc

SWFM Retail Group, LLC Corporate Office is seeking a Payroll Specialist for an onsite position located in Cinnaminson, NJ that ensures associates are paid accurately and on time while maintaining strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. Associate will manage timesheets, calculate wages, process deductions garnishment orders, and resolve discrepancies.
Responsibilities
• Payroll Processing: Verify associate timesheets, calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and process payroll via direct deposit or check on established schedules.
• Data Management: Input and update payroll data including benefits deductions, resolve direct deposit issues.
• Employee Support: Serve as a point of contact for associate inquiries regarding paychecks, deductions, tax forms and all payroll matters.
• Reporting: Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with internal or external audits.

Requirements
• Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, along with 2-4 years of dedicated payroll experience.
• Technical Skills: High proficiency with payroll and HRIS systems (e.g. Paychex, Workday, Deputy) with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Compliance Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), tax regulations, and payroll processing best practices.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
